Hair micro transplant

The surgery

Hair micro transplant takes 4 to 6 hours. We will cut your hair in an horizontal stripe in the zone of permanent growth (above the nape or in the lateral of your head).Then we surgically remove this strip which is always between 14 to 18 centimeters long and 1,5 centimeters wide, and then we carefully suture the resulting wound. The auxiliar team will remove from that strip the follicular units, preparing them to be ready to their implantation. Follicular units with only one hair will be placed in the front area , that will give a naturla appearence, units with 2 or 3 hairs are placed in a posterior area. Units with more than 3 hairs are ideal for the superior area, where density is very important.

 If you wish a higher density, is possible to make a second session in the future to place more hairs between the existing hair, but this session would have to wiat at least 6 months. On each session we transplant almost 4000 hairs. The front area, above the forehead is always the first area to be treated.
