The Clinic
After a two years project, on March 17, 1994, the Institute Alexander Fleming opened its doors for the medical and scientific excellence.
The Surgical Center was built in a wide area of approximately 700m2, with 4 (four) operating rooms for highly complex surgeries equipped with modern anesthesia equipment, multifunction modular monitors for hemodynamic monitoring, automatic alarms and embedded memories, surgery table with electronic control, last generation electrobistoury, extracorporeal circulation equipment and heat exchangers for thermal balance patient, facilitating the involvement of several simultaneous surgical equipment. Also has 1 (one) operating room for ambulatory surgeries or less complex or endoscopic procedures. This operating room has Anesthesia Recovery Room
annexed with 4 (four) observation beds, individual changing room and medical reports room.
The third, fourth and fifth floor were aimed at General medicine Room. In the third, the Institute has 27 (twenty seven) single rooms; in the fourth, (15) fifteen and the fifth, 24 (twenty-four), that makes a total of 66 (sixty-six) beds, all with private bath, central air conditioning with individual control and central gases (oxygen, compressed air and vacuum |
